There are a few things a person should know before going to get surgery or other treatments for spider or varicose veins. First of all, varicose vein removal may be covered by a person’s insurance company but the treatment and removal of spider veins is usually not. Most treatment options for spider and varicose veins will not require someone to miss many days of work unless they had surgery. Though, even surgery for varicose veins will generally not entail long recovery process.
